Course Description

The BLS course prepares and provides healthcare providers, first responders, and students the skills and tools to deal with medical emergencies in various clinical settings. It uses a variety of hands-on skills to solidify the techniques to identify and manage life-threatening emergencies, perform CPR and use an AED.

Airway Management and/or Oxygen Therapy can also be added as additional certifications to this course. For more information about these options click here

 

Course Criteria

  • 100% attendance and participation
  • Adherence to the Fundamental Principles
  • Ability to comprehend and successfully demonstrate all required skills, including critical steps
  • 75% min passing grade on a written knowledge evaluation

 

Certification

  • Currently 1 year in BLS.
  • 3 year in Oxygen Therapy
  • 3 year in Airway Therapy
