Comprehensive offering first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need training due to work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home. Course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.

Course Criteria
  • 100% attendance and participation
  • adherence to the Fundamental Principles
  • Ability to comprehend and successfully demonstrate all required skills, including critical steps
  • 75% min. passing grade on a written, closed book knowledge evaluation
Certification
  • 3-year certification in Standard First Aid, CPR Level A, or  C, and AED
Course Duration
New Certification Traditional Class:
  • Level A: Two Days (14 hours)
  • Level C: Two Days (16 hours)
New Certification Blended Learning:
  • Level A: 6.5hrs
  • Level C: 7.5hrs

 

Re-certification Traditional Class:
